God loved us so much that He made us in His image. So when we think that we’re not beautiful, or our hair isn’t perfect, or that we don’t like the color of our eyes, or the size of our nose; God said in Genesis 1:27-28, “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” If that doesn’t make us special, I don’t know what does. God loved us so much that He decided to give us His likeness. There is nothing like being made in the Image of God. That is how special we are. Psalm 139:24, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Your image and likeness. And thank You for sending Your one and only Son so that we may be transformed into His image and be accepted into the Kingdom of the Son You love. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
