God’s Miracles

God does miracles, even in our day. But why do some miracles seem to take longer? When we pray for healing, why doesn’t it happen right then? Isn’t it God’s will to heal.

These may be thoughts that you are having today, especially if you’ve been going through a hard time. However, I want to encourage you to sit back and relax.

We always want answers right away. However, sometimes God’s will is to have us wait and learn something from what we are going through.

This usually isn’t our will. We want answers and we want them this second. But if you were stuck in the valley for a while, would you realize that God helps you through trials? Would you realize how you must depend on God at every moment? Would you realize that God always there with you, walking and carrying you through every storm?

If God gave us everything we wanted right away, would we understand how important he is or would he just be someone who grants wishes not miracles.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, as people in life go through trials and storms, help them look for Your will, not theirs. Sometimes we have a hard time in the waiting and wondering season. But we know that You never leave us nor forsake us. So, don’t forsake us in our time of pain. Come to our relief and help us not give up before the miracle takes place in Your timing, not ours. “ . . .with God all things are possible,” (Matthew 19:26). 1 Peter 5:7, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” Matthew 6:11-13, “Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’” “ . . with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
