“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you,”” (Matthew 28:6-7).
“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them,” (Acts 2:1-4).
In Matthew 28 it talks about Jesus being risen from the dead. All the sin, sickness, and disease he allowed to come upon him was defeated for us. But do we still have to wait for the resurrection to live our eternal life? The answer is, we don’t have to wait for our physical resurrection. Rather, being filled with the Holy Spirit is our resurrection. We are living our eternity today as long as we have been filled with the Holy Spirit like Acts 2:1-4 describes. So don’t wait, accept the Holy Spirit so that you may live your eternal life today!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help us walk in eternity on earth. Deliver us from evil and help us keep our eyes fixed upon You every day.
I also asked that You send Your Holy Spirit to those who are reading but haven’t received the Spirit of God. Open their eyes to this revelation. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
