Many friends will come and go in our lives, but God is a friend who never leaves. He is a Friend that you can count on. Jesus will always be there for you, no matter what you are going through. Jesus loves you and is there during the good and bad days. God is not a friend who leaves during hard times, instead Jesus carry’s you through them.
Jesus says, “You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you” (John 15:14-15).
So, never think that you are alone. Jesus is always there and wants you to know that He is your best friend.
“Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him” (Psalm 34:8).
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray that everyone who reads this devotional realizes that You never leave them nor forsake them. Open their eyes to the true meaning of friendship. “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command” (John 15:12-14).
Thank You that you stay during the good times and bad. We praise Your name Lord, for You are worthy to be praised. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
