Every snowflake is different with its own design created by God. This reminds me of how God created us with different features and personalities. God see’s us all as special, yet we tend to put ourselves down. “Why couldn’t my hair be a different color? Or “Why couldn’t I be tall?” Or “Why couldn’t I be thinner?” These questions put our bodies down.
However, God knows that we are valuable. Matthew 10:29-31 states, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows” (Matthew 10:29-31). Jesus loves you and has a plan for you. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
So, trust Jesus with your life. He knows you, loves you, and created you. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” (Psalm 139:13-14). “You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you” (Song of Solomon 4:7).
Prayer
Jesus, I pray that everyone who reads this devotional realizes how special they truly are. Have them seek You and find You, when they seek with all their heart. Show them how beautiful they are, and that value only comes through Jesus Christ. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
