Never give up on God. He is still the healer and the God of hope. Matthew 19:26, “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” So remember, no matter your circumstances, God can change it around. He’s the healer, the God of all hope, and the freedom giver. “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed,” (John 8:36).
Prayer
Heavenly Father, bless those who are going through hard times. I thank You that You will give them a turn around and change their lives. Bless them beyond measure and give them hope. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
God’s love casts out all loneliness. But sometimes we have allowed ourselves to think about thoughts are sad. We may put ourselves down and start believing what the devil says to us. But why would we believe the devil when he is the father of lies? Everything he tells us isn’t even true. That’s why God shows us who we are in him and how we should feel. In Psalms 16:7-11 it says, “I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” So no matter what you are going through, be filled with God’s laugher, joy, and peace. God doesn’t make us sad. The devil does. So turn the devil and mute and turn God’s word on full blast.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I repent for listening to the devil’s lies. Help me focus on Your truth and realize that You are the God of all joy and peace. Deliver me from the evil one. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
What a day it will be when God parts the heavens and comes to get us. We won’t have to be a part of a broken world, but a home that lasts for eternity. No more sorrow, no more sickness, no more pain. It’s a world that’s never broken and never will be put to shame. What a home that will be. A place where everyone believes and fully trusts in God. A world where everyone loves and no one hates. But as we wait for this glorious day, let us not get weary in doing good. We tend to fall back and give up on humanity. But if God’s chosen people are still here, (which they are), then we still have a purpose in this frozen, dark, sad world. So, go out and preach the Gospel because God is not done yet!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, Thank You that You’re going to come back for us. Thank You for going and preparing a place for us where we will never be sick, tired, or lonely. Keep Your holy people in Your prayers. Thank You for never giving up on us and giving us the courage to shine and preach the Gospel in this cold dark world. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Sometimes life isn’t fair. But what does God want from us? He wants us to live for Him with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. This life isn’t about us, but Him. Mark 12:30, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’”
Prayer
Heavenly Father, Help us remember that we are hear to bring You glory. Keep us on the narrow road, following You with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. Give us the courage to endure to the end and help us know that when things don’t go our way, You have a better plan. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
In Matthew 25:40 it says, ““The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” God also says in Proverbs 31:8-9, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” So don’t stay silent when others are being taken advantage of and need support. Come to their aid. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.”
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I ask that you help all your people to stand up for the rights of those who cannot speak for themselves. Deliver us all from the evil one and bless us who do your bidding. Thank You for never leaving us nor forsaking us. And I rebuke all curses evil people try to put on the poor, needy, and fatherless. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Why are some people killed for Christ? And why does it affect the other Christian believers? Because we feel our soul get pierced when someone dies for their Christian faith and opinions.
But this isn’t how it’s meant to be. We’re all supposed to love God and live out his will for our lives. Yet we’re sinners and live in a fallen world. People that are killed for Christ have accomplished everything God wanted them too and we must believe that. It’s not about what we want for their lives or what we want for ours. It’s supposed to be what God wants for us and how He can use what we think is bad and ugly and turn it into something magnificent. God laid down his life for us so that we may be saved. Now it’s our turn to lay down our life for Christ. To listen and obey his will, not ours. I believe martyrs have done just that.
But what about us? Are we laying down our lives every day and doing what God has called us to do? Are we listening and obeying or are we fulfilling our dreams instead of Gods? If we die a martyr, would we die doing what God wants us to do?
I urge you in the Lord to lean on the strength of God this week and beyond. But also allow God to reveal his strength that he provides. So much strength that you could be killed for Christ.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we thank You for your strength in our lives. Thank You for helping us lean on God and continue marching toward the finish line. Show us that “ . . .God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose,” (Romans 8:28). Give us so much strength in You that we could be killed for Christ. Show us what this means to trust in Your unfailing love and grace. Give us the strength to go on when others are taken and we are left. And keep our lights burning so high that no one can deny it. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Jesus is the most important thing in this life. Yet so many times we want what we want. How do we finally yield to Christ? We must let down the barrier surrounding our heart. This can be difficult but not impossible. We must learn how to trust Him. God is here for the long hall, not just for the night. So remember, It’s about Him and not about you. We must deny our flesh and yield our free will toward the Father. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.”
Prayer
Heavenly Father, sometimes we don’t understand how to let our guard down. We want to do what we want to do and we forget or ignore the fact that this life is not for us. This life is for You. Help us yield to the Spirit of God and not only listen to You, but obey You. Help us Lord yield to Your ways. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Even though God’s timing is different than ours we must remember that God’s timing is perfect. This is hard for us who are like, when will I get the job of my dreams? When will I find my future spouse and get married? When will I have children? These thoughts are constantly running through our minds because we are not very patient people. We want what we want when we want it. And we always see our age as a block. We should have our dream job by the time we are twenty, married by the time we’re twenty-five, and at least two kids by age thirty. Yet that is not how God thinks at all. He thinks “thy will be done, not my will.” So as you go throughout life and the devil starts bringing your age and accomplishments up in your ear, resist him and think of what is true, “Thy will be done, not my will.”
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help us not get distracted by our age and accomplishments. We do long for a dream job, spouse, and children. But we also want what You want for us. Give us the dreams You have for us so that we may accomplish Your dreams not ours. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
So many times we want people to talk to, hang out with, and do fun things. But when that doesn’t happen and you’re alone that should be a safe place too. You may not have friends because you’re busy or others around you don’t have the same Christian values. I want to tell you now: that is ok. You are safe to not have many friends or none at all. You can still have fun, have dreams, and go on adventures. We were not put on this earth to have friends, but to preach the gospel and love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. So whatever season you are in, whether many friends or few, never forget your number one friend and supporter, Jesus Christ. Matthew 19:26 “ . . .with God all things are possible.”
Prayer
Heavenly Father, so many times we want friends and someone to like us back. But we don’t always have that in our lives. So I ask for peace, love, and joy to enter the hearts of the righteous. Some days they may be lonely but help them look up for their redemption draweth near. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
How many times has our hope been drained? And how many times has God needed to build it back up? Many times, probably. But I want to encourage those who feel tired. My encouragement is this: No matter how hard it gets, keep going. It may feel like you’re in a dark tunnel, waiting for the light to appear. You may not see the end, and you wonder if it will ever come. But I promise you that it will. It is there. Hope keeps us going and God can give you that hope again and again. Just ask Him for it every day and every moment you need it. He will get you through your hardest hours. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.”
Prayer
Heavenly Father, sometimes our hope is so drained. Yet there is some tiny piece in us that encourages us to keep going: Faith. So in faith we ask for hope to be restored to those who are hurting and broken. Give them one more ounce of hope to make it through today so that You can carry them through the tunnel. Show them that the best is yet to come in You. Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Sometimes we wander away from the light for fear of our sins being exposed. But then we feel lonely, and we hide away in shame.
But what would happen if we really lived in the light? Fully knowing God’s grace and forgiveness. What if we really believed what the Bible told us about freedom? And what if we felt and yielded to it in our everyday lives? God says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom,” (2 Corinthians 3:17).
So, I would say that we would feel secure, filled with hope, and content with love and joy. We would never feel ashamed but fully be aware of what God did for us on the cross. We could really live free.
But it takes yielding and believing things unseen. We must feel the Holy Spirit and yield to what He is saying to us. And we can’t wait until we have all our problems figured out. They never will be if we do it alone. So it’s coming to Him broken, fallen apart, and messed up because we know that He can take away our insecurity and doubt. He can give us a life where living in God’s light is something real and not a fantasy. Being a true Christian exits. But we must yield to it and believe that what God says is true. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well,” (Psalm 139:13-14).
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we tend to live on the edge in our Christian Walk. We get close enough to taste what You have, but far away in hope you don’t see our brokenness and sin. Yet you already see every part of us. You see our brokenness and loneliness. You see our shame, sin, and condemnation. You see our fears and our worries. Yet you don’t point your figure at us and tell us to get away. You open your arms wide and tell us, “Let me fix it.” But because of our pride we try to turn away from the light and live in the darkness. But You didn’t call us to that way of life. You called us to live in freedom. To live in joy and pray continually. Help us yield. Help me, God. And show everyone of us the Way to You. Matthew 19:26, “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
I don’t think we realize what God did for us when giving us grace. Just imagine this was you.
You send your child to earth, where he will only have around thirty-three years of life. People try to kill him, while others believe in him and follow him. Then, right at the end of his life, he must go through an excruciating death. He’s wiped, abused, stripped, and tormented. A crown of thorns is shoved on his head, and part of his beard is ripped out by someone else’s hand. He’s then having to carry a cross before lying on it, only to have huge nails driven through his hands and feet.
Instead of the murderer, rapist, liar, and thief, your child is innocent. He’s never done anything wrong. But he’s the one who’s on the cross. He’s the one being tormented. And he’s doing this so that the ugliest sinner could have a relationship with you. That is what God did by allowing part of Himself, Jesus, to come to earth and give Himself up for us. He loved us more than His perfect Son.
We can’t even fathom that kind of love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness. But that’s the kind of love God has for us. He put our ugliness upon His precious child because He wanted us to have a relationship with Him
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for laying down Your Son for us. Nobody on earth would think the way You do. And yet we need what You did for us. Without You giving part of Yourself up for us, we wouldn’t have a chance of survival. But because of Your great love for us, we stand before You, arms stretched wide, because we have a Father who cared enough. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
God is the only thing that satisfies. However, we tend to still get involved in our day-to-day lives with what our flesh wants. It’s a constant battleground between the flesh and Spirit. But stay strong and keep going. Don’t give up. God is on Your side.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we are not perfect people. But you can transform us into the image of Your Son. Keep us strong in the Spirit so that we can win every battle and not just some. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.”
God’s peace is overwhelming and strong. But sometimes we don’t always have this peace. Why?
Because we start walking in the flesh and worrying about our own desires rather than focusing on God. It’s an overwhelming feeling of worry, doubt, and fear. It’s constantly in our minds and feels like our whole life is in ruins when it’s not.
This is just a lie from the enemy. So when we feel stress and anxiety, breathe, relax your shoulders, close your eyes, and meditate on God. That rush of anxiety will soon leave in Jesus’ name.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, flood our minds and bodies with Your supernatural peace. We have a lot on our minds, and sometimes it’s hard to turn it all off. So give us joy and reminders to focus on God when we are focusing on the things around us. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Sometimes we don’t understand why things happen to us. But if you think about your last trial, you will probably find that God brought You closer to Him through it all.
Those trials may have been the hardest thing that has ever happened to You. But could it also be your greatest blessing?
God brings us closer to Him and turns evil for good.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, keep us close and bring us closer to You. We thank you for never leaving us during our hardest storms. And ask for You to show us Your greatest blessing through it all. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
How many times are we thankful for God’s timing instead of our own? Probably, not until whatever we want or need happens. But what if we could rest in God during the journey? What if it wasn’t all up to us to make things happen?
This type of life would be way more peaceful. However, we must let our guard down and yield to Christ. Getting what we want or need doesn’t have to happen today (our age or timeline doesn’t matter). God’s timeline is perfect, even if we don't think it is right now.
Yes, we want all the great without the wait. But if we want peace, we have to yield to Christ and be grateful.
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus,” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I give my worries, fears, anxieties, heart, mind, and thoughts to You. Help me relax and rejoice through the waiting. May it be miraculous. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
