In the hard times, you can trust in Jesus. On the bad days, you can trust in Jesus. When you feel like you are at your worst, you can trust in Jesus.
There are a lot of people on this earth that we can’t trust. People betray us, lie to us, steal from us, and more. Yet when we get discouraged or afraid we need to rely on Jesus, for we can trust in him. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Jesus also says, “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged” (Deuteronomy 31:8). So, we can always trust in Jesus. Jesus will be there in our worst and best days. Jesus never leaves, He never lies, He never cheats. Jesus is someone everyone can trust.
So, if you are having a hard time trusting Jesus, go back and read all his promises. Build yourself up in faith and remember all God has done for you. Jesus never fails.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray that everyone who reads this devotional knows that they can trust You. Give them a revelation and show them that “With God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). And Lord, show them that you will never leave them nor forsake them like you mention in Deuteronomy 31:8.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life” (Psalm 143:8).
“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does” (Psalm 145:13).
