We tend to feel like we need to keep it all together. And we sometimes feel like failures if we have difficulty. But the truth is, we are sheep in need of a Shepherd. Sheep are skittish, they get afraid, and they could run off and make mistakes. But God is our Shepard. He leaves the ninety-nine for us and He will never leave us behind.
Romans 8:30-31
“And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:30-31).
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for carrying us. Thank You that You are our Shephard, and we are Your sheep. We praise Your name for giving us the power to overcome through Your blood. And we thank You for calling us, justifying us, and glorifying us. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. " . . .with God all things are possible," (Matthew 19:26).
