Sometimes we try to hide ourselves from God. But it’s best to talk to Him about everything. Our feelings, our emotions, temptations, and even sin. It’s hard sometimes. We tend to want to protect our heart, keep it locked up, and give no one the key. But for us to truly be free, we must give the key to God, and trust Jesus to soften our hearts, get rid of things that are not pleasing to Him, and then fully trust Him with everything. It might take time, but don’t get discouraged, rather go one step at a time and ask God to get rid and heal the broken parts of your heart. He’s there with you, waiting to listen, to be a guide to the blind, a Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, and a husband to the single and married. “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.” (Psalm 68:5-6). So, I want to encourage you all to talk with God silently from the heart and then let God do the talking in your life. I promise that God will take you from Holy to Holy.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help us talk to You from our hearts and not hold anything back. We know that You know all things and before a word is on our tongue You know it completely. “Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely.” (Psalm 139:4). So build our faith to know that we can trust You with the deepest being of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. “with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26).
