God is a righteous God. And as Christians we should conform to the image of His Son Jesus. 1 John 2:15-17, “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” So, as we go throughout 2024 let’s make sure it’s a year where we transform more into the likeness of Christ.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I ask that You bless 2024. Help us deny ourselves and pick up our cross daily to become more like You. Thank You for helping us. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
