God is in Our Midst

Writer: Double BlessingDouble Blessing

God is in our midst all the time. And when he was born, he was given the name Immanuel, meaning “(God with us),” (Matthew 1:23). So even though we can’t see or hear his audible voice all the time, that doesn't mean He’s not there. It just means that we must practice seeing and incorporating Him into our daily routine. This may come in the form of reading the Bible everyday by yourself or with family, thinking about Him and talking to Him throughout the day, and so much more. Even listening to worship music may make Him more present in your home. So remember, God is in Your midst.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help us feel Your presence and let us feel You in our midst. Help us incorporate You in our daily lives and not get dry in doing what is right. Matthew 19:26, “ . . .with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
