Some days, we forget God’s holiness. Jesus is Holy and deserves to be praised. However, when is the last time you praised Him from the heart? When is the last time you sat down and worshiped Him all alone? How long has it been since you’ve meditated on His word?
Revelation 4:8 says, “Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.”
This scripture shows us that God is a Holy God. He is so Holy that four living creatures never stop saying, “‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.” (Revelations 4:8).
It’s all about time we stop and meditate on how beautiful God is and how amazing his presence feels. We should long for more of Him every day of our lives. So, I encourage you all, to take a break from social media, turn off the TV, and get away with God. Sit down and ponder on all the amazing things He has done. Think about the times He was there for You, and how every second of every day, He chooses to stay with You. Think of how marvelous He is, and most of all, how Holy, pure, and righteous He truly is.
“I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word. Be good to your servant while I live, that I may obey your word. Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law” (Psalm 119:14-18).
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray that everyone who reads this devotional gets alone with You. I ask that You show them Your glory and how Holy You are. Deliver them from evil and convict them of their sin. Lead them on the narrow road and show them the way they should go so when they grow old, they will not turn from it. Be with them Lord and show them your great and mighty power, for you alone are God. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
