I’m still working on transforming my mind to think healthy, pure, and Godly thoughts. This is a battle, but God says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2). So, this week lets work on resisting the devil and keeping our minds focused on God together. “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you.” (James 4:7-8).
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help each one of us submit to Your ways and deliver us from the evil one in Jesus name. I rebuke and repent off all the thoughts that are not pleasing to You. Help us stand firm against the enemy by putting on the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, feet fitted with the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, to resist and rebuke all thoughts that are from the devil. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:10-17). “with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26). In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
