Anyway

No matter what you are going through today, praise God anyways.

Many times Christians give up believing in God when He doesn’t answer their prayers exactly the way they want Him to.

During their trial they ask the questions, “Where are you, Lord? Have you completely forgotten about me? When I’m going through this dark valley, have you left me to face it alone?”

The answer: Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you.

““Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”” (Numbers 13:5-6).

So, trust in Jesus no matter what you are going through and realize that God is sitting right next to you and reaching out his hand saying, “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:3).

Jesus might not heal your body right when you ask Him to. He might not give the exact miracle you’re searching for or expecting. But Jesus still conquered death, hell, and the grave, so death no longer stings.

““Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:55-57).

So, remember that God gives us victory either way. Who are we to turn to God and blame Him for something He didn’t want for us.

Is our entire faith shaken when God doesn’t move the mountains or part the sea the way we expect Him to?

When someone dies instead of getting the physical healing we were longing for, will we praise Jesus anyway?

Will we see that a miracle still came?

Will we continue to believe that after death there is eternal life for those who believe in Jesus Christ?

Will God’s answer to your prayers, whether good or bad, change what you believe?

Will you only believe in Him and praise His name when you get the outcome you want?

Or will you choose to see the small miracles that occurred throughout the trial you endured even though you didn’t receive what you wanted or expected?

We encourage you, to praise God ”Anyway.” Because He truly has the best in mind for you. He doesn’t want one to perish, but all to come to repentance. Choose to love God and praise Him “Anyway.”

It could take years for the healing you’re looking for and maybe it won’t come the way you want it. Your miracle might be the time you take your last breath and enter heaven.

But overall, God still answered, whether He physically heals you in this life, or He takes you home to heaven where there is no sickness or pain, Jesus still answered, and as believers in Christ that is enough for us.

Let’s continue to trust in Jesus and pray on our knees, and not lose faith. No matter God’s

answer we claim, “I will believe.”

Daniel 3:18 “If the God whom we serve exists, then He is able to deliver us from the blazing fiery furnace and from your hand, O king. BUT EVEN IF HE DOES NOT, LET IT BE KNOWN TO YOU, O KING, THAT WE WILL NOT SERVE YOUR GODS OR WORSHIP THE GOLDEN STATUE YOU HAVE SET UP.”

So will you praise God “Anyway”?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, many days we don’t understand Your plan. We don’t have all the answers and we’re all broken without You. “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57). Keep our faith held high. Help us trust in You and know that You are a God we can truly trust. “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.” (Psalm 145:13). " . . .for I am the Lord who heals you." (Exodus 15:26). So, we stand on your promises Lord, for You are the rock of our salvation. "“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock."" (Matthew 6:24-25). You never let us down Lord and You never will. “““Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”” (Numbers 13:5-6). Give us hope, love, and joy. “Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” (Psalm 126:2) " . . . for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10). Bless everyone with peace as we all await the answers we're waiting for with patients. "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." (Romans 12:12). “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27). "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28). “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26). In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
